“One must be equipped with the capacity to listen to and obey the ten thousand demands and commandments hidden in the ten thousand situations with which life is confronting them. It is our job as physicians, therapists, and educators to assist people in developing their individual consciences and finding and fulfilling their unique meanings.”
— Viktor E. Frankl | Austrian neurologist, psychiatrist, and philosopher

Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Savannah, Georgia
“Though there are many phrases for the therapeutic relationship (patient/therapist, client/counselor, analysand/analyst, client/facilitator, and the latest—and, by far, the most repulsive—user/provider), none of these phrases accurately convey my sense of the therapeutic relationship. Instead I prefer to think of my patients and myself as fellow travelers, a term that abolishes distinctions between “them” (the afflicted) and “us” (the healers).”
― Irvin D. Yalom (American existential psychiatrist, professor of psychiatry, author)
Clinical Concerns
Specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma recovery, interpersonal dynamics, existential questioning, behavioral & substance abuse issues, LGBTQ+ & gender issues, and clients navigating various life transitions or identity development.
I work in an honest, grounded way, focused on the here and now—where small shifts tend to lead to real change.
My approach is trauma-informed and explores the parts of you that protect you from pain—even when they’re no longer working. We meet those parts with curiosity, not judgment. We’ll work in a way that fits for you—in person or virtual.
My Treatment Modalities
Integrating Existential Therapy with evidence-based frameworks such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT).
Appointments & Fees
Sessions are 50 minutes long and cost $150. I offer both in-person sessions at my Savannah practice and secure telehealth options.
Common Questions About Starting Therapy
“Above all, the therapist must be prepared to go wherever the patient goes, do all that is necessary to continue building trust and safety in the relationship.”
― Irvin D. Yalom
